Spring/ Summer/ Fall
Students will practice basic reading, writing, and speaking skills in the Korean Language, anywhere from Korean Beginners Fundamentals to Korean 6, Level by Level. We are dedicated to providing Korean language education for second and third generation Korean-Americans as well as introducing basic Korean to students from different cultures.
This Korean Program is connected to and supplied by the Korean Education Center in Los Angeles (KECLA).
한국어 기초 상
Korean Beginners Fundamentals
한글의 자음과 모음을 배우고, 자음과 모음의 결합으로 이루어지는 쉬운 글자와 단어를 읽고 쓰며, 다양한 단어를 익힙니다.
Students will learn their fundamental vowels and consonants and learn to read and write various beginner-level Korean words.

Korean Beginners Basic
학생들은 기본 자음, 모음부터 받침, 어려운 모음 읽기를 학습하며 기초 어휘를 배웁니다. 노래와 이야기등의 활동을 통해 한국어를 즐겁게 배웁니다.
Students will establish their proficiency in the basic vowels and consonants, learn ‘final consonants,’ learn how to read harder vowels, and build a basic vocabulary. They will learn through fun singing and speaking activities.

문장 읽기와 쓰기를 배우기 시작합니다. 게임과 퀴즈 및 동화를 통해 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기, 문법을 배우고 익힙니다.
Students will start to learn how to read and write sentences. Through games, quizzes, and Korean folk stories, they will learn reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills.

Students will improve their reading, listening, writing, speaking, and grammar skills across the board, and learn more about Korean culture.

일상생활에서 쓰는 자원봉사, 동화책, 지각, 도서관, 영화 등에 관한 한국어 낱말과 표현을 배웁니다.
Students will learn words and expressions concerning volunteer work, Korean folk stories, perceptions, libraries, movies and more that they see and experience in everyday life.

학생들이 좋아하는 가수, 게임, 온라인공간의 예의, 안전, 에너지, 용돈 등에 관한 한국어 낱말과 표현을 배웁니다.
Students will learn words and expressions concerning their favorite singers, games, online courtesy, safety, energy, allowances, and more.

사회생활에 필요한 한국어를 구사할 수 있도록 합니다. 생활 및 계획을 한국어로 잘 구사할 수 있도록 배우며, 10~20문장 정도의 글을 읽고 뜻을 이해하도록 합니다. 간단한 주제에 대하여 한국어로 자신의 의견을 표현하는 법을 익힙니다.
Students will build and maintain Korean proficiency that is necessary for social life. Besides socialization, not only will they learn to plan, but also learn to read at least 10-20 sentences with full comprehension. They will learn to express their opinions on simple topics.

학교 외의 영역에서 다루어지는 한국어를 이해할 수 있도록 배웁니다. 20문장의 수필이나 글이 소개되어 뜻을 파악하도록 하며, 정해진 주제에 대해 자신의 의견을 말과 글로 표현할 수 있도록 합니다.
Students will learn to the point where they can understand conversation and concepts outside of school topics. Essays and writings are introduced to help students understand deeper meanings that their authors convey. They will also learn to articulate and write their opinions on set topics.
